I think Jay got less snow then Sugarbush and Stowe this weekend.
I drove from Waterbury to Jay Saturday morning, the snow fall dropped off
fast as I drove through Eden.
Everyone with snowmaking, has a rock hard and frozen base.
If the frozen base isn't there, you are skiing on rocks.
Powder skiing requires parallel foot motion, along with a fairly exaggerated up/down motion after the pole plant. Kind of hard to do when you are in a snowplow, sitting back with no poles. Ty is skiing like the toddler he is, you shouldn't expect anymore. As long as he is having fun. Everyday...
