    Jay Peak 03/15

Got to the Bonneventure at 12:30. Figured I woud go up and see what things looked like. Even from the parking lot you could see some signs of dirt/exposed areas. As to be expcted visibility at the top was about 20-30 feet. Skied down to the jet. Trails did have some thin spots, not too bad...

    Jay Peak, VT: 03/10/07

I am glad I made the last minute call to stay home for the weekend. I am actually heading up tomorrow night, ski Wed-Sun if decent. I just spoke to my wife she said it is 42 in Montgomery. That means 38-40 at the hill, need higher temps than that to make it skiable again. I will be sleeping...

Anyone ski Jay since the weekend?

Has anyone skied Jay since the weekend? Heading up tomorrow just wondering what things are like up there??? Did the wind and cold keep people away?

    Jay Peak 2/17

I do also believe Bill S. does his job, not knocking that. Yes I am 3 days late. I did not make any remarks on snow conditions, just amounts. It is hard to get up here when you live 300 miles away and have obligations to jobs and family. This forum about peoples observations. Sure it is...

    Jay Peak 2/17

Started out the moning on 1st tram. Third person with their skis on. Skied green beret, nice and soft, but extremely windblown as expected. The small drop in the middle of the trail had a great landing. From there we skied over to the Jet took a run into the ''orchard'' great snow, still a...

    Jay Reports from Wednesday/Thursday?

Break it up for me. I will be there Sat A.M. first thing. Friends in Stowe said that first tracks were not the best. It got better once people kicked it around a bit. I am hoping for some decent snow on Saturday. If the tram is not turning tomorrow. I plan on hitting the tram first thing...

Jay snowfall discussion: wind, upslope relative to others...

I as many other "weekend warriors" have a pass at Jay. It is actually a great deal at $600. The pass is paid for after 5 weekends. I ski weekends and about one week vacation per year and can rack up about 30+ days/year. It takes me about 5 hours to get there, I see many people from my area...

The drive is not so bad, had to vent. Try to make the best of my weekends in VT. I am damn glad I don't pay for a ticket, pass allows you to throw in the towel. Time to relax and sleep in for tomorrow. Going to hold out til Monday and see what happens. I hope I won't be able to get home...

    Jay Peak, VT: 01/13/07

This was probably the worst day I have ever had at Jay Peak. I spent 5 hours in the car for this, I am disgusted with the conditions. Frozen is an understatement. I made sure I hit the demo shop to get a quick edge, I should have spent the 12 dollars I wasted on that on gas to drive home...

Steve, Thanks for the update. Maybe Scott should be the new weather spokesperson instead of Roemer.
