New ski in the East photo/video movie

I didn't even know that Murdochville had a ski area, and I've been skiing backcountry in the Chic-Chocs the last 3 years!! Wow! Too bad that the town is folding up, there's not much over that way. Homard-tele-femme

    New zipper for my g-tex

I know that zippers are about the only thing TNF warrantys. Everything else is pretty much considered normal wear and tear. There's a lady named Penny who has a gear repair shop called Specialty Outdoors. She fixes most anything, and is considered a official warranty repair center by a couple...

    Mountaineering boots

Well, not at all. I ordered them online at bentgate.com They have last years model on sale for 159 bucks, a steal. Given that I own 3 pairs of double plastic boots, all Scarpa tele boots, and I've have good luck with my feet fitting into them, I ordred them online. I also rest assured that I...

Groan....... Here's a thought. Go to epocrates.com and get the free download. It's all drugs, dosages, interactions etc. Maybe if she eases into it with a drug program, she'll warm up to the idea of using it. It took me a while to entrust my pocket full of medical reference manuals to a PDA...

OK, I'm in!!! Nice job Mark :D :D I have a Toshiba E400. Probably has a smaller screen than you. I have to scroll about 0.5-0.75 inch to read the news. Great! Now between all the other links I should be able to keep up with the ski news on the road. I was going to buy a wireless card this...

How big is your site? I have 240k of available space. I could live without a couple of subscriptions if I needed to make room for FTO.

Hey!! I added FTO to my advantgo account! After 30 minutes I'm still not sync'd. How long does it take you?

Hey!! Where is that? Can I sync this to my PDA when I upload in the morning? I hook up to advantgo before I leave for work and download news, weather, local ski reports etc, then read it all when I get there. Would add you to the list if I only knew how

    Home ski area?

The Loaf. Wish I lived closer though. On days when I can't make the drive, I'll throw the skis and dog in the car and hike up Mt Jefferson. It's only 20 miles from where I live. Takes 15 minutes to skin up. Moxie loves it too :D Occassionally they open for a day and run the t-bar. But with no...

    Sunday River snowmaking tease

It's warmed up quite a bit the last couple of days. 6 days ago I was camped out in 15 degree weather freezing my petuties off, and today I was riding my bike in shorts. I'm hoping your prediction is correct.

    Ski Area Wish List

All the stuff I didn't get to at Chamonix last year plus: Tremblant, Killington, MRG, Mont Edouard. Backcountry aspirations: Chamonix, Katahdin, Avalanche Pass in the Daks, Parc de la Gaspesie, and who knows what else :D

    Sugarloaf also blew snow

I'd rather spend my cash skiing early season at SR instead of SL. SR blows better quality snow, and can cover a trail in a day or two. The Loaf, on the other hand, spends a week or more laying wet glop on Sluice and Spillway. True the glop makes good base, but by early season I've been jonesing...
