last time i was at smuggs, every other mountain in N VT [except MRG] had most lifts on windhold (stowe had a bunch) and smuggs had none. MRG will also be fine.

well, i doubt they've had the most financially sucessful year, so it may be a move to save some cash. it keeps the conditions better for the weekends anyway (when i can get there :)

i got a pair of 724exps and i love them. they have been great for me everywhere. they are great in the woods, great in trees, good on ice and hardpack. my GF has a pair of supersport gammas and they seem to do a little better on ice and hardstuff but the EXPs seem to handle variable snow...

i skied 3/19-20 and it was one of the more fun weekends i have had in a long time. unfortunately i can't make it this weekend but hopefully there is some snow left for me next week :)
