Thanks for the installation advice, Marc. That video is awesome and well worth the time to download and install RP. Looks like Magic has some great terrain. Anyway, I really enjoyed it (except for the Flock of Seagulls soundtrack :wink: ) and started a thread about it in our forums.

I don't subscribe to the "Drift", but a member on our forum indicated he received the newsletter from K stating they blew snow on Cascade last night. They also mention a November opening...

I also think the timing is incredibly bad for RSN fans. Why couldn't they develop the new forums in parallel with the old boards? I think we can all agree that the RSN forum software was obselete and lacked features, so if they are truly rolling out a new system, it should be an improvement. Too...

Currently reading the section on bootfitting/aligment in the The Athletic Skier by Warren Witherell and David Evrard. It's a few years old, but there's some good bootfitting information in it.

It seems RSN shut down a bunch of forums over the weekend. Apparently, they are working on a new format: SOURCE I wonder if the exiles will flock to FTO, AZ, SnowJournal, and the like...?

I personally commend Killington for adopting the top-to-bottom policy. Regardless of the amount of terrain they first open with, they are certainly going to charge $30+ for a lift ticket so offering upwards to 2000' of vertical is commendable IMHO. I don't think you can compare that to a coupla...
