MSS to open tomorrow saturday nov 12th

C'mon Frank! MSS is as boring as they come! A black-diamond trail there is pretty much the same as their blue squares... I can't see any difference between the Jay (skier's right of the main quad) and the 70-west (skier's left) and somehow, one's a blue the other's a diamond! MSS is certainly...

    Is there anything left?

If you don't mind earning your turns, Jay Peak supposedly have enough snow to ride again this week-end... I'm thinking about going... but i might just go mountain biking once more... Your best chance are over at the Jet or around the Can-Am/Lift line... Everything at the bottom should be very...

10/29/2005: Jay Peak, VT ----> Heavenly! (edit: w/ pics)

    8) :D Nice photos you got there. Looks like there was some good skiing to be found up there. How was it below the face chutes? It was amazing! I climbed all the way to the big rocks on the right of the pic. I found some really deep stuff all the way down... really felt...

10/29/2005: Jay Peak, VT ----> Heavenly! (edit: w/ pics)

This was the best snow in the early season i've seen in my life! I rode on Oct 10th in 18in of snow at Jay maybe 5 years ago... I rode in St-Sauveur on man made snow in late October also... But never was it this good! Coverage is perfect all over the mountain... I even hiked up the face... can...

Storm may allow Killington to open early

There is almost no snow in the townships... At least, not to open a resort... If you look at the pictures on skibromont.com you'll see that the mountain still has some white stuff on it but everything around it is green... I'm going up to Jay Peak this week-end... on saturday i'll be hiking and...

    Best Tree Skiing?

Coming from Jay i can only agree. I've been riding average knee deep snow all winter... There is always snow deep in the wood... And Tree skiing is the best because the normal crowd stays away. Jay Peak now is not as it use to be... Too many people know that there is snow there... The mountain...

Thanks everyone for the answers... First, the surgeon was recommended by 3 physical therapists. He's emphasis on sport related injury. Then, my sister is a physical therapist... But she lives to far... One of my friend's dad has a huge sports clinics near my house... I've been there already...

Hi! I got a call back from the hospital today... after spending 5-7 months on a waiting list, i got a call about pre-registration for the surgery... Hmmm.... what should i do... The surgery itself isn't scary... it's the possible consequences... I've dislocated my shoulder 5 times in 5 years...

    Burke Mtn. VT

back to original post... Burke Mountain is also home of the Kingdom Trails. It's clearly the best spot to ride a mountain bike in the east! If you decide to camp to the Kingdom trails, prepare yourself in advance because the campsite are booked in the summer... Moutain Bikers comes from many...

    Jay Peak, VT 2/13

I was at Jay on Sunday and Monday. The conditions were amazing but i couldn't believe how much traffic the place has seen over Friday and Saturday... Every major glade was skied out and stumps and rocks were everywhere! But when you know where to look it helps. I rode in knee deep powder all...

Hi! I'm always up at Jay Peak on sunday and monday and i carry my radios when riding the woods. I'm normally on the 14-5 channel. I'd like to create a sort of database on who's on which channel when at Jay Peak? 14-5 Who's next?

    Jay Peak Jan. 29-30

I know how snowmaking works. Jay stopped making snow on Can-AM on tuesday and moved it's gun to the Exhibition on WED and stopped on THU... There was plenty of time for excess water to get drained from the trail and to groom the Can-AM even FRIDAY during the day... would have been ready for the...

Jay Peak and Mt. Hor 1/29

WoW! Great job! Like the report... Love the BC adventure in vermont... I'm tired of liftlines and crowded ski areas... I think next year i'll be hiking a lot and will be going BC every week-end... You need to earn your turns and then you really enjoy them!

    Jay Peak Jan. 29-30

I went up to Jay on Sunday and the conditions were good if you knew where to look. THere was lots of people on the slopes and the parkings were full. I can understand (after having two people died on their icy slopes) why Jay closed down the Can-AM... Imagine stupid tourists trying to ski down...

    Line Bindings

LINE skis are 100% handmade in Cowansville, Qc, Canada. They are extremely well made. I visited the factory and they have the right equipement to manufacture good skis... after all, they're manufacturing a lot of Burton snowboards over there... mayhe you should stay away from Burton too then...
