here's the sunday rivah video shot on wednesday. it shows the good coverage we have for this time of year. even though the snow was better on thurs, wed did not suck. there's a clip of me with the pom pom hat cuttin some short swings in the sun. then my almost 60 yr old mentor, dick "liftline" labonte, rippin some nice teleturns in his special red suit. you should see the guy ski bumps. unreal. pretty much everything i know about skiing technique comes from this guy. we're always trying new stuff to make the skiing experience better, more dynamic and efficient. i was skiing my new scarpa typhoons, fritchis and secret skis.

secret nomads. 128-86-114 and 3 lbs lighter in a 179cm length. they friggin rip. i skied em in 10-14 inches of pow last tuesday all day and they were effortless there as well. can't wait to get em in the bumps when i can really get the really quick turns and flexion/extension goin. a whole new one ski quiver for me and 6 pounds lighter than last years setup between the new boots and skis. talk about mega laps and vert in the bc.

So they started making those guys in a reasonable length? 179, hmmm.... might have to demo or something this winter. Too bad I don't have money for skis.
