frank and everyone else!!!!!!! heres my prediction from the skiing/snow CRYSTAL ball...

1-we have some rain moving into new england-central mass on wed/thurs- is going to be about 35-50 degrees, colder as we get towards late thurs into thurs night.
by then......colder air pushing in from canada will be omni-present. way way up there in canada from the hudson bay - west, its already about -33 degrees F.cold enuff to freeze molson.
the cold air will come skating on down, and instead of a BERMUDA TRIANGLE,i predict a SNOW triangle! the points will be,PETERSBURG PASS NY (lost area)---the top point will be JAY PEAK VT...then the other point,SUNDAY RIVER.everything inside this triangle will=6" to over 1 foot!
so i bet the GOLDEN crown will go to places like:
okemo, kmart, sbush, mrg, stowe,JAY (fer sure!) cannon,attitash,wildcat---cross your fingers.
comments invited!whaddaya think?

best-----
brian o

it feels great to be back marc!
my hexcels/blizzards/olins await the pow-wow.
prob fri!!!!!!! skiing.yee hah! finally got some time off-

brian o

Hmm, let's see that.
I didn't check the models yet, cause I needed something like 2h to be up to date on the Zoneski forum, cause of my test this morning + restaurant after and I'm back from MSS (see other conversation soon)

I hope that you will blessed by a lot of snow (and I hope it will be the same thing for us !!)

Tonite, it was already some sleet at 8PM at MSS...and heavy sleet at 9h. So it doesn't look good for tomorrow, although the places like La Réserve & Garceau shouldn't be touched by the rain I think.

Warning for 15-40cm (6-16" for the Tremblant area). It looks good for La Réserve friday !!!! Until there, it will be christmas gifts and a last work for the school (yeah... something weird, we have until jan 15 to send it...)

Don't forget the Adirondacks. They are slated for another foot to 18" of snow tonite through thursday.

I may head up to Whiteface.

-Sh

Wahoooo !!

And it looks like there could be another storm sunday/monday !! (Mathieu on Zoneski (kind of Scott Braaten in QC for the weather checking) just wrote that the weather institute (or so) called for a possible 20-35" of snow in New England ... but still possibilities of mixed precipitations...

Anyway, that's still very very very far away

Hey... we're wednesday, so tonite is the chat !!

According to snow-forecast.com New England is going to get soaked today http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/appalsnow24.php but dumped on tonight http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/appalsnow36.php.

For us non-meteorologists these maps are very user-friendly. They are generated by a computer in England for ski regions all over the world. Feel free to comment upon their credibility vs. other forecasts.

tony-------you were right! we got a soaking in mass-my crystal ball guess was a bit off! like most jr.weather forcasters!
i did say that northern vt would get pummeled--but not much in reality,a SJ poster said BURKE=9 inches new.not sure what happened in nh?

brian o
