ALTA, QUEBEC (Open Today )

It was great to see that Alta opened this morning as most of the Laurentian areas closed down for budget reasons ( not for lack of snow ) Alta decided to open for one last kick at the can on Natural snow and what a day . The temperatures soared into the 60?s without a cloud in the sky and no wind. All around great day to be on skis.

it looked soooo nice !
it's so incredible, only with natural snow to see them close that late and with a so big coverage, while the weather is warm for weeks... even more than a month !
too bad there is rain in the forecast tomorrow, as tomorrow afternoon was my only chance to ski it this weekend...
