Had a great time with Pete, and some of the first tracks crew. they really showed me around...places I would have never gone..or found. Alta was the best by far, Snowbird had some great bump runs and some hidden stashes..too bad Mineral was closed due to high winds..which we found at the top of the Little Cloud chair but nothing more than we get here in the east, just a lot higher! Snowbasin was frozen but we made the best of it. the top of the Grizzly had the best snow..its just too short, unless you straightline it! Finished up with Alta and found some truly steep (for me anyway) chutes and gullys. It was some of the best skiing I have ever done..and it didn't even snow all week. Pete really made the difference as he stuck it out even with freezing fog messing things up. much thanx for driving me around and feeding me for 2 nights. Some house he has there!!

Ira, I'm glad you had a good time. It is always fun to show visitors some of the hidden gems of our "home" mountains. Too bad you didn't get to play in a nice powder dump. Maybe you'll get some next time you visit. I suspect you will be back :)
