Just got off the hill and have a flight to catch, but surprisingly, today was even better than the last two. Maybe 2-3 inches fell overnight on top of yesterday's 6-8, and the wind had smoothed some stuff out to make for perfect conditions. The Face of Bell was smooth and only lightly untracked all day. Walsh's (which was closed yesterday) held the deepest snow on the mountain, and Bingo Glades didn't have the most snow but is a great long, steep run. Trainor's is a good challenge, but could probably use a bit more coverage.
By far the best runs of the day were in Spar Dump, an area opened just last year that is completely natural. I took three laps there, two on a completely untracked steep spine and one bouncing through an untouched pillow field.
I feel like it doesn't even need to be noted anymore, but it was once again empty on the mountain. There was a lineup of maybe 40 people to start the day at the gondola, but I think many people went home after a few runs and I never waited for a chair.
