I went monday to Mt Avila, skiing the huge snowpark that have been built there this season. (it was the biggest snowpark in the province and one of the biggest ones in North America as of what I heard)

The Huge Halfpipe at the top have still some 20-25' high walls of snow, but it's almost all melt in the middle ! whoops !

The jumps after the Pipe are still big, but there was a break of about 40' long in the middle of the trail. The Lower jump still have a ton of snow. I measured it with my altimeter at 30 feet high !!!!!! This is going to be skiable in june for sure, but probably not on a big distance unfortunately. I think it should be skiable on 300+ feet long in June.

You can see some pics of the Snowpark on Zoneski at this address :

http://zoneski.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1227

Also on this page, there is some pics of Mont Saint-Sauveur, which will be open this weekend (tough to believe). They're opening back just to be the last ski area of the province to close... as they were closed on may 2 (rain) while Ste-Anne was open.

Yesterday, Christophe (Zoneski's founder) and me went to the Chantecler. In fact we thought to ski a big pitch full of snow at Belle Neige, but it melted a lot in the last month Chantecler was looking not so worst, so we went there.

The trails we skied both had slightly more than 300' of vertical skiable. Still not so bad.

You can see how it was also on Zoneski and there is even 2 little funny videos

http://zoneski.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1228

After, we went to Saint-Sauveur, but they closed all the entrances to reach the slopes !!! Probably after have read our report of 2 weeks ago ! oops ! Anyway, we found one, but it was right in front of the base lodge, so we've been seen and they screamed to us that they were going to call the police if we were not exiting for there... not really the choice ! (stupid ••••• employees, just go s***)

Anyway, we lost too much time with this adventure to get back to the Chantecler, especially as we were already enough late in the night ! Ahhhh night skiing in the dark, it's cool

He sent me some pictures of the skiing and I hope that this one will come in:
