Does anyone miss this place - Brodie?

I'm not exactly sure why this place left us, but is it was pretty good.

It was the one day I was allowed to miss school. Being Irish and skiing.

No numbers, but I think it is one place that could have survived.

I live only 45 minutes from Brodie. It is too bad that they're gone. Jiminy Peak bought them several years ago and then shut them down within a year or two (to get rid of competition??). There have been rumors that they may try to revive the ski area as part of a housing and condo development or use some of the slopes for tubing. Among other things, they were known for dying some of their slopes green on St. Patrick's Day. The ski area was owned for years by the Kelly family and they dubbed the ski area "Kelly's Irish Alps" for St. Patrick's Day.

I recall an article about Brodie that referred to it as a small ski area attached to a large bar. I don't recall if they served green beer too.
