Yesterday, I went to Bromont in the Eastern Townships. No snow untill I get to the mountain  I decided at the last minute to go skiing yesterday. It was a bit late. If not I would of went to Sutton.
On there web site snow report, it said that there were 17 trails open. WHen I get to the summit, I see that a few trails were closed (and on there web said that they were open) :x I really hate things like these  Montreal, Waterloo (top) and Cowansville were close. But, I did them even  The top of the Waterloo had nice moguls with a very good coverage. Why close the trail ??? The Montreal and Cowansville were groomed and it was the best for high-speed turns. I usually hate skiing on groomed trails but this time was different, I had the trail to myself
For the open trails, they were all dangerous :? Vanilla slush snow with full of piles of snow. Really not enjoyable. I think the best one was Knolton. But still. Really thin coverage in some areas.
A wierd thing is that the Quebec was still open and it had a lot of bares spots
Weather: It was sunny with temperatures in the mid 50's but there was a North-East strong wind all afternoon
Really far to be my favorite day of the season  but it was better than to stay home to watch tv or to stay in front of your PC
Frank , do not say on zoneski that my real reprt is on FTO
Today, is my 20th birthday
