Burgers and Corn in the White Room

[First Trax]

Took a quick tour up to the White Room with Bucky to see if the sun was warm enough to serve up some corn snow, to go with our burgers. The skin up was warm and the snow was breaking up, but as we got to the basin of big Jay, it had not seen enough direct sunlight to melt the snow and was pretty set up. We cruised right up to the White Room, where the sun was warm and sheltered from the wind. We fired up the grill and enjoyed a Big Blue and burger hoping for the snow to soften and serve up a side of corn. Meat only on this day, I will be waiting for the sun to shine, and the temperatures to rise enough to enjoy some Back Country Corn skiing and always some fine dining in the White Room. Meat Head Productions would be proud of todays tour.

Finally a report straight from the locals... I was wondering myself it this w-e would be the last call for a tour around Jay... maybe next week... We'll see...
