Skiing stowe going to cannon!! <BR> <BR>I can't resist going to Cannon. With an expected 9 inches for that area I can't miss the possible last opportunity to hit up mittersill. I am very excited as I am sure the back country skiing will be superb after Fridays snow!! Can't wait, My brother and I will be at the tram for the first tracks lift that leaves early. Me- grey jacket orange goggles helmet élan m12's, Brother-orange jacket orange goggles helmet r11's if any of you guys venture up to cannon don't hesitate to say hi. <BR> <BR>porter
 
Too bad I have this party in the north with the firm. (I hope that it will be cool !) <BR> <BR>If not it would have been skiing 2 days in Charlevoix... or going to Cannon. <BR> <BR>Saturday, as it's just beginning in the afternoon, I may go to a tiny ski area in the laurentians where I'd never skied. <BR> <BR>Sunday after the party, I'm going to see. I'll be at 10 miles from Alta and from a lot of other mountains, so I may ski there. May be Mt Avalanche too, as I didn't ski it since years and it's quite a nice little snowy place !
 
9 inches! whoa, where did you hear that forecast? i'm reading 2-4 inches possible tomorrow with snow tappering off early saturday morning. 4 inches would still be enough to make some of my favorite picks skiable again, heh. <BR> <BR>this is the last weekend the tram will be in operation. i'll definitely be up either saturday or sunday, or possibly both. i start at the peabody base though. hey porter, if you want to make a meet up time somewhere, i'd enjoy making some turns with you. or if you see me out there, i'm on volkl p50s and wear a blue jacket with "umass lowell ski team" on the back, black pants, helmet and gloves.
