Cannon Trip Report 2/1/09

Well it was 2fer and man was it crowded. I was on the first tram and had many great runs, SKYLIGHT being my favorite. By 11:30 there was approx. a 5-6 tram wait(line was out the back, over the bridge and on to the trail. It onll took me 2.75 hrs from Plymouth, MA. FYI, ski country never got the warm temps that MA reveived.(great for snow preservation) Despite being skied off very quickly and very cold, I still enjoyed the day trip. This year I'm going on an old school tour. I'll try Burke, MRG, Wildcat and Magic b4 the years out . Thanks, John. PS how far and what are the directions to Burke from Cannon.
 
Cannon to Burke is an hour - I93 to I91 North, get off at Lyndon, follow the signs. If you're trying for old school head for the mid-Burke lodge rather than the base lodge. Looking at your target list, you should think about adding Sutton in Quebec to the list.
