35" inches of snow from the storm was what they were reporting. Maybe at the top of 9990' where the snowstake is this was accurate. The small part of the mountain that was open appeared to have about 1 foot of new snow at best. The runs were filled with rocks and twigs and more traffic than an LA freeway. In fact, this day reminded me of SoCal skiing. Truth is, that as a season pass holder it was worth it and the worst conditions are still better than not skiing. If only they had opened up the Dreamscape side of the mountain, then I would have been skiing beautiful powder in the trees there. Maybe next storm.
