Cat Skiing in the Laurentians !!

New this year , La Reserve is offering Cat Skiing " off the backside of the ski area. No sure how long this will last . Attached is the web link ( French only )

Mind you , these areas like most Laurentian areas are around 1000' vertical . Probably only a question of time until new lifts go in . Consistent snow would also help :wink:
 
Beer wagon , that would be a good idea. :-) I don't think they were able to run it often as probably the worst snow in years in this area. Don't know why you need a cat as you can just hike up on your own . This is what we do on other Laurentian hills.

Good point , :-)

On A serious note , they are charging $10.00 a run and are quite serious on keeping the powder. Since it is relatively close by will probably go out and give it a try as have viewed this area in the past and looks interesting . It will have to wait to next year as this year was a bust in snow for the Laurentians. Early spring conditions again as snow in the direct sunlight has turned to corn,while other areas remain granular.
