Over the years, Tony's personality has at times become larger than life on our forums. His penchant for reducing everything to a statistical analysis either makes people love him or drives them nuts (or as is the case with me, a little of both), but he's never shy about expressing his opinion and providing advice to many who come here in search of it. As a result, most of the peanut gallery watched this thread with irrepressible curiosity, much like staring at a train wreck. As many have gotten to know Tony over the years through these forums, some electronically and some even in person, it also provided no small source of amusement.
However, the more I think about it, it isn't really amusing after all. It is a train wreck for all involved. My condolences to everyone directly involved, and I mean everyone...whether I like you, don't like you, or don't even know you. That's why I figured that it's time that we put this public exhibition to bed and let you folks sort things out privately.
Everyone makes mistakes in life, myself included, and it's up to those involved and directly affected to determine how significant those mistakes were and what consequences come with those mistakes. I'm ashamed and embarrassed that we were so morbidly curious about this situation, yours truly included. I sincerely apologize.

For MG--no harm, no foul. Not sure how TC will feel about this. Too many other things to talk to him about tonight anyway.
