maybe even a soft opening friday pm

Looks like there is a 36 to 48 hour window of decent snow making temps. really at the edge of what it would take to get open. I'm hoping and have taken the day off to be there. Not real optimistic. I'll be dressed in a cow costume if they are open. \:D/

get after it bob. i may start skiing on november 10th, a monday at the rivah and do tuesday as well. after that i'll be off from work every week on wed and thurs with work starting at 2pm on fridays through june. should get plenty of skiing in. i've been securing shop deals for the staff all week. so far, burke, saddleback, sunapee all free. loaf, rivah, loon 10 bucks, cannon should be same great deal as last year at 15. should get like 30+resorts on board for the shop program soon, hmm where's it snowin and where should i go today? what a life.
have fun, i'm gonna wait awhile.

I'm a little more optomistic today. One way of another my boards will get used this weekend. \:D/ K started making snwow very early am today. I suspect to hear the same thing from Sr when its light out. On the road tomorrow afternoon to the hills costume packed. Mostly a weekender here. My weekends do get extened often and 3 weeks of so of vacation time in the winter. Still buying the 1st beer Rog.

If you do upload it to SkiTube. The quality's far superior to YouTube and I'd love to be able to paste the footage.

And again, to embed it here in Liftlines the simple instructions are here.

I know who the Rsn crew is. Ya I had some sources too. \:D/ I'll pm my cell. I'll be up by 10pm tonight.

oh bob, if i do go, i'll leave the seacoast in the morning. had a great surf session this morning, 33 degree air temps, only a few folks and perfect curls. i'm torn between the ocean and mountains for tomorrow. tough dilemma, i know. look for me in a clown costume.

There are open NOW for free.

We're open!

That's right -- the Locke Mountain Triple is turning and T2 is open for skiing and riding this afternoon. Lift tickets are free for everyone and we'll be open until 4:00pm.

Today's opening is a preview for tomorrow's annual Halloween celebration and first full day of the season. Lift tickets on Halloween will be free for anyone in costume.

On Friday the Locke Mountain Triple will start spinning at 10am with open terrain on T2 from the summit down to the mid-station, and the park crew will have a rail set up on lower T2 for early season jibbing. Lift tickets for anyone not in costume will be $25, with skier services based out of Barker Mountain Lodge.

We will remain open through the weekend for skiing on Saturday and Sunday, then will be closed for the midweek period. The operating schedule is Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-4pm. Lift uploading will end at 3pm each day to allow time for downloading back to the base.

Open terrain on Friday and throughout the weekend will be for advanced skiers and riders only. Open terrain will be weather dependent. Expected open terrain is T2 on Friday and Saturday with the potential addition of Upper Sunday Punch, Jim's Whim, Sunday Punch and Lower Sunday Punch on Sunday allowing for top-to-bottom skiing and riding. Stay tuned here for updates!
