Has anyone skied the Village Run off the Back of Wildcat?

What is the run like at the top, the middle, and the last third??

Does the trail end at the Wildcat Tavern or in the middle of nowhere???

I think you mean the Wildcat Valley Trail. This trail is all backcountry and should only be skied with at least a couple of buddies. It is 11 miles long at it's shortest and can be made into a 13 mile tour with a vertical drop of 3,245' and will take you a long time to complete. This is a trail that has rolling, flat and uphill sections that make it inappropriate for snowboarding and fixed heel skiing as it uses cross country style ski trails. There is also a fee for the trail use which is part of the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation(JSTF).If you are serious about skiing this trail I reccomend "Backcountry Skiing Adventures in Maine and New Hampshire" by David Goodman. It has a very articulate description of the trail.
((*
*))NHPH
