How are conditions at Sunday River?

i rode there new years eve day. hard, icey, and busy. needed sharp edges for sure. we went straight to where the guns were at and we had a few hours of "good snow" in the am. then word got out......

i just talked to someone who was up there this past weekend. saturday was really warm (high 40's) and r@!n. on sunday it dropped to 8 degrees. bulletproof! they closed the lifts.
 
Just skiied Sunday River on Monday... we knew we were in trouble when we got a great parking spot! Many of the lifts were closed due to high winds, conditions didn't make up for it and a lot of trails were closed.... waste of time until we get some more snow... Unless you like ice skating
 
Thanks all. Sufficiently depressing for my ski bud and family who have committed to SR the remainder of this week.
 
I heard yesterday that they had a lengthy power outage while they were making snow and the guns on several trails are out of action until they can thaw them out. I have no idea which trails or how many guns froze up with water in the lines. Sunday River can run over 100 guns simultaneously so that might be a pretty painful project.
