that's what we used to call blitzing the mountain. they've created their own mini-blizzard. first tracks in the morning should be awesome.

That's big enough that the Albany NWS should include flurries/snow showers for western Green County...

This is a result of the new, upgraded pumphouse#2 that was brought online over the summer. One stat I've heard is that with it Hunter can blow enough snow to fill an olympic sized swimming pool in 5 minutes.

They have already opened Wayout on the Westside and have started making snow on Claire's Way as of yesterday afternoon. Looks like we'll get to ski Claire's this weekend!

When I was there this past Sunday 2 trails were open; to go from that to opening probably 75% of the mountain without any natural snow by this coming Saturday is simply amazing.

Scott, any weather updates would be appreciated because Monday could very well turn into a day off for skiing.
