Intrawest sells Mountain Creek

Intrawest still has Whistler/Blackcomb, right? Conspicuous omission from that press release.

Oops fixed. And no, it's not a press release. Neither side has yet issued one.

I avoid that place like the plague, but in the eyes of its target audience, things can only go up. People *HATED* Intrawest and had a long laundry list of grievances, including the allegedly temporary lodge (that became permanent), the Cabriolet lift, and turning all of South into a terrain park.

One more down. Which resort(s) are to follow next... How many left after they pay off the restructured debt? Any?

While they have more run-way in time with the restructuring, it still looks like a mess for Intrawest...

I have to think that Stratton is coming soon. There just isn't that much upside (read: developable land near the base) for them anymore.

Good point. Although, theoretically they could expand the town at the base.
