ok maybe its just a drift but it is still cool for new england

it was pretty killer hitting those drifts today. there were many on vista way, but the biggest hit launched you about 6-7 feet above the ground with a mighty soft landing. today was quite a day for big air!

Obviously, you haven't seen a cornice if you mistook that for one. Interestingly enough I have seen cornice drifts on Cape Cod Dunes this winter which matched the ones I have seen on various mtn. peaks.

just a joke mr presumptuous
Why should I not presume the literal? Whatever, these cornices seaside were quite interesting in that they overhung the shore. I saw cayote track out to the edge of a prominent one. If you fall through one, though, you'ld be taking an icy salt bath. Back to skiing drifts, it certainly must have been wild up there.

given that there don't seem to be any trees closer than about 20 ft on the one side, and they don't look to be that tall, it must have been friggin' WINDY up there to do that.....

Sorry, fella, but the title didn't ring true. I won't waste time on a post with a title that I can criticize. Futhermore, I didn't find it >>cool for New England<< in that I've seen these seaside cornices which I described that will prabably form this storm in Maine. It just dawned on me that many of the areas of Me. north of Brunswick could be tele'ld down to the shore.
