It's snowing this morning in the East

We're getting reports and photos from mountains stretching from Jay Peak, Vt. (where 10-15" is predicted) to Snowshoe, W.V. We'll publish a photo gallery later today once they're all assembled, so stay tuned.

I've been telling everyone at work that we are going to get hammered this season (since they tell me every year that it won't snow) ..considering the amount of rain, hail, tornadoes, hurricane winds, etc......

It's been buzzing across the internet for the last few days...and before Tony wonders why I'm not heading out. Steepmomo bday party+sleepover is tomorrow and Roger Waters is on Sunday.

Snow in the Dark, Greens and I suspect somewhere east of Quebec City.

They must thing that you have a drinking problem. :brick:

It's really tough to get excited about a foot of wet slop on unfrozen ground and 50 mph winds.

C'mon Geoff, live a little. I bet I will be having more excitement tomorrow than whatever you'll be doing.

One of the best concerts I've seen in a while!!!!!
I saw Peter McCartney (ex???) and Peter Murphy (ex-Bauhaus) in my two nights stay in Toronto during our family vacation in August, so... the bar is high. I've seen Roger Waters in 87, 99 and 06(?), I agree, definitely a great show.

Here is something I posted on FB in August(not my videos):

Second Paul McCartney show at the Air Canada Centre in two days, my first ex-Beatles show. Once in a Lifetime show for sure. 3 hours, no intermission and 37 songs (40 if you include the medley). WOW!!!!

Peter Murphy - August 10: Second day in Toronto, second amazing concert in a row after Paul at the ACC. In a small club this time. I was totally blown away, best performance of Peter I've seen in many years. Best two shows of the year (with honorable mention to Peter Gabriel, Rush and Santana).

Definitely. Saw him once, in either 1989 or 1990 at the Orpheum Theater in Boston.

Killington officially claims:

14" atop Killington Peak, elevation 4,241 feet
6" at the K-1 Lodge, elevation 2,500 feet

I will vouch for the summit measurement though I think an average of 12" is more realistic for the overall upper mountain area. If they got 6" at the base, it melted by the time I got there. About 0-3" of wet snow at the base on the grass though it increased to a solid 6" after not too much skinning.

Taking a break from Steepmomo's birthday party. 8 12/13 girls singing and talking loud in the living room.

I just did a quick check without looking at the actual numbers. WF, K to Jay, Ste-Anne, Le Massif and Massif du Sud got what looks like skiable amount (thank you facebook). Hoping that it doesn't melt to fast for Monday.

PS. Marc, I saw the same Peter Murphy tour in 1990. Metropolis in Montreal during the Deep tour. NIN were the opening band.
