Coverage is gooood. Had some really nice early morning runs down Ullr's Dream and Exhibition. The glades are in fine shape with ample coverage and just a little biy of underbrush poking out here and there. Didn't hit any rocks or bare spots in my many ventures into Beaver Pond and Beyond. Things are definitely turning to winter.

Was on my own, so no action shots, but here's a few low quality grabs from some scenic video.

blue bird powder day. i love wednesday, oh wait i love tuesday, oh wait i love monday, which is the best of all of them. powder powder and more powder. to bad it is already skied up. it wont be long before we can venture into the backcountry. one or two more solid storms and we'll be good to go.

week days are still the best days to ride jay with almost nobody there the past 3 days.

i'll be back up there today for some more sun. have fun this weekend, because it will certainly be a madhouse. hopefully the surfaces will be refreshed by next monday when i will be ready to slay some more chowder.

No, I didn't put the video online. It's not really worth much - just a few pretty white trees and some blue sky :wink: . No action at all and your mind can probably do a better job with the colours and contrast than my video camera did.

Will be back for more on Saturday and Tuesday.
 
great skiing still . went today and found some decent turns . everywhere has beautiful packed power.can't beat it. looks like more fresh on the way tonight . i'll be there tomorrow to check it out. i love jay.

I live too far from Jay Peak to just drive over for the day, but this weekday/non-holiday deal they sent out this morning is pretty nice:
