today had to be some of the worst conditions of the year at jay ...despite what the website may have advertised. the mountain was frozen solid with little or no coverage. if you are at home and debating to make the drive... dont. save your time and money. see what this storm does for us. bottom line...waste of a day. if you are a employee of the mountain or pseudo climatoligist please dont feel the need to chime in here and debate todays conditions or the validity of your conditon reports...these forums are used by the general public to make educated decisions about where to ski and ride. we dont really need you ad pitch today.

Well I'd like to know. Maybe it was an honest mistake. Or maybe it was written the night before. Or....

Steve?

My post was not a shot at Jay Peak or anyone who works there. JP has actually been pretty reserved with the forecasting as of late and that has been much appreciated by the skiing community who is been trying to get through some tough times. It is mother nature that is giving all of us short fuses...no ones fault there is no snow. i was just telling it how it is harvey...not looking for a debate. conditions are as bad as it gets and i am sure there are plenty of folks at home who rely on the no bs reports people post.

Hey man - I wasn't being critical either. (Sorry if it came off that way). I was just curious to know how such a disconnect could happen. In any case - it looks like things are gunna get a LOT betta. Was it McCartney and Lennon...."I have to admit it's getting better...it couldn't get much worse....!
