wrong......only because those were our tracks ahead of him........and those were taken at 3pm

Tracked out? Hardly. There were people skiing it on Wednesday but there were still plenty of fresh lines available Thursday....all day. We took the short skin to the top of the Bonnie quad for our last run (or you could just hike it) and there were still plenty of fresh lines down the mountain. We didn't do anything in the woods and just went down to Green Mountain Boys and took it down. I never had to cross a track on the way down. There was enough coverage that there was even some guys skiing the face chutes. That's some serious snow.

on thursday, anything above the height of the jet triple was still very much powder when I left around 2pm.

there's a great bootpack track up to the summit, but going about 2/3 of the way up and dropping into Valhalla was the best deal going. it wasn't tracked out at 2pm, but was getting there. lots more on skier's left remained untracked, but you had to deal with the low angle run-out in super heavy snow - should be some paths in there now.
