Hey Folks-
I am heading out to Golden BC in late February and it seems that snowfall is a bit lower than normal out that way. Has anyone been out there yet this year?

If so how short are they on normal snowfall?
I know alot can happen over the next few weeks but just wanted to put some feelers out there.

Thanks
Chris

I was at Kicking Horse on Dec.30 which I realize is a long time ago. I went there not expecting very much because the previous two days I had skied at Panorama and the conditions there were crappy. Kicking Horse was at that time excellent. The snow was soft and loose with excellent coverage. At Panorama I had to have my bases fixed after the second day, at Kicking Horse I didn't hit a single rock although we skied much steeper terrain there. We took a short hike to a run called Terminator and actually found boot deep powder. Both sides of CPR Ridge and Redemption Ridge had excellent coverage. I don't know how much snow has fallen in the last month so I'm not sure if this report is useful to you.

I believe Tony is going to be at Revy next week. I'm sure I'll give up a full update and will be able to answer many of your questions.
