Everywhere in New England will be about the same. For Southern VT:
Snowmaking temperatures return by morning.
Chance flurries Saturday, greater in the north, ending by evening. Accumulations of 1" or less, except in historically heavy upslope snow areas (Mansfield, Jay Peak). Moderate winds from the northwest, becoming northernly.
Temperatures start rising Saturday night and climb above freezing through the day, with rain returning by evening . Repeat Saturday's forecast for Monday.
Frozen granular will be the condition for Saturday, loose granular for Sunday.
Given the expected traffic this weekend, I would say that most trails will be a sheet of ice after 10:00 both days. At least Sunday they have a chance of softening in the rising temps.
For Northern VT: Sunday afternoon the precip may start as snow but will quickly switch over. Storm may finish with moderate snow.
