Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort will stay OPEN until May 2nd!

You asked for it, and you’ve got it! Let’s go skiing and snowboarding right into May.
We are experiencing the best spring conditions ever and you need to come to the mountain and enjoy it!

Just to clarify, LVSSR is 100% open on all lifts and runs through May 2nd.
Join us Sunday for fun on the deck with music by War Pigs.

2009–2010 Season Pass Holders from any ski area receive an All Day Lift Ticket for only $25! Present valid I.D. and your current season pass from any resort.

LVSSR still has 5 feet of snow on the ground and more snowfall is forecasted for the Spring Mountains next week!

that place has an alta type base elevation 8600 feet . been there a couple of times nice family resort with a ton of challenging terrain above the lifts . mt . charleston goes up to 12000 and some change.
 
Also first place I ever put skis on in Dec. 1975, albeit just for the handle tow on the bunny hill at the base.
 
Average annual snowfall: 110 inches

I'll guess that it's Chair 1 (the one on the left in the map) simply due to the steeper terrain under it, according to said map.
 
I was going to respond initially about how I could hardly contain my glee at the news.

I dig how the forum's resident RN blasts us with a free, unsolicited advert for a small ski resort that nobody here ever patronizes, then she isn't heard from again. Hell, if not for that avalanche, I wonder how many people, even avid skiers, would even know there's a ski area near Las Vegas.

Oh, I finally tried that Rogue "Dead Guy Ale" - tasty stuff.
