It was 20 bucks for Yuesday at magic today - pulled in to see the small lot filled. About 6-8 inches fell overnight and it kept on snowing all day - slow steady snow with quick bursts here and there. Magic was in great shape - good coverage on most trails- Twilight Zone, Witch, Talisman, Sorcerer, Slide of Hans were great. Heart of the Magician was even better- Surprisingly, Lucifer was the best -tons of snow on the dips and rolls. Master Magician was sparse - only a few nuts tried it. Goniff still has quite a bit of ledge. Redline looked good- saw action all day...

Great day for Magic....

i'm a frequent magic skiier and it's currently in the best shape i've seen in the past 2 yrs. given that they make very little snow on their own you gotta love the conditions there.

Thanks for the review. I was planning to ski Magic on Saturday and now I'm excited. The snow at Magic the past two seasons has been spotty.

Magic was again in fine shape Wednesday. Maximum of 35 cars in the lot. So me 4 friends and less than 100 others had two days of snow to ourselves. Lucifer was still in great shape, although the top had been scraped off; fine if you like to fly, but I preferred to meet my friends below the topmost pitch. Redline was also great; not as filled in as two winters ago, when the cliff was less than 10 feet, instead of the 15 that I bypassed yesterday. Woods (except next to a windward Talisman) were in awesome shape with knee deep par for the course, and the rollovers and stumps made for some fun air, since the landings were so soft.

It's a great little hill. I enjoy having a mountain to myself, but worry that the small crowds might stop the lifts from turning.
