Mammoth falls behind on their WRoD

Snowmaking has been spotty at Mammoth, with one good night and sometimes the next where no snowmaking is possible. Also, the forecast is calling for some warm days. That said, I don't see anything on the home page which mentions delaying opening day. It is still scheduled for Nov. 9. Whether they will make it is anybody's guess. We don't have to guess what opening day and weekend liftlines will be like. Mammoth is my home base, but we'll be heading back to CO on Nov. 8 rather than up to Mammoth. :arrow: :arrow: :evil:
 
I guess I got opening dates mixed up. I thought they were to open this weekend.

Mammoth looks more promising than Boreal.

Yeah. Warm all over the West Coast.

Too bad the rain in Washington/British Columbia was not snow. The 10-20" rain could have been 100-200" of base. Maybe they are getting a Pineapple Express out of the way early. Better than January.
