No, Midnight Oil skipped Montreal and played Toronto and we were visiting Chicago for the first time and caught Tears for Fears for the 1st time since 1985. I just timed the skiing in order to catch the Oil; initially thinking about NZ in early September, but my calendar was pretty filled up with a trip out to Alberta and a couple Bauhaus shows in Toronto and NYC… that North America was canceled.
Last year’s European trip was timed to catch Fish final tour (I had never seen him except with early Marillion. This year’s trip, Propaganda in Germany.

Very sad, I had no idea that he was ill. I remember when I first saw their videos in the early 80s. Of course, everyone was mesmerised by Garrett's Frankenstein-on-speed dance moves; however, I (a closet drummer) took note of Rob's excellent bashing behind the kit as shown in this clip at age 26:
