I was at Le Massif two weeks ago and we had 36 inches basically in 24 hours, it was amazing, 20 miles down the road at Mt Saint Anne there was maybe 2/3 of the snow....
- Parking can be a pain, tickets are being given to lots of folks who park on the road and at the entrance. Ask locals if you can when you get there.
- Not great coverage yet, just enough to be fun. I didn't hit anything hard under the surface yesterday but i picked my line carefully by hiking up it.
The new picture show what's it's going on if nothing is done there, Branches are taking the slope stongly! I think there's not enough snow anyway right now to go there with some freezing rain they got... A new storm and that would be good...
First time I heard that they give ticket to cars on the street... Maybe this is why we saw some car on the other side of the gate.. maybe flying car!
Anyway, there's a video of my girlfriend going slowly on that hill!
The mountain has a large "no tresspassing" sign up that wasn't there last year.
Cars parked on the other side of the gate are there for the wilderness/movtiational training school that runs up in the woods at times throughout the season (mostly multiday - so you'll see the cars there all night).
Most of the time you can park in the driveway on the street side of thre gate - but make sure you leave room for cars to get in and out through the gate otherwise you might get towed/ticketed.
Parking on the street will get you ticket if the ticket guy rolls by (not sure how much).
