Ahhh... the drama that is Telluride.
The entire town is full of drama queens. Sometimes I do not know if people are serious or joking when discussing any issue. Generally, I just throw logic out the window when visiting and enjoy the moment [practicing mindfulness].
I'd bet he is just trying to force them into paying money to defense lawyers to try to screw them over financially vs any realistic shot at winning any lawsuit anyway. Typical petty bully type stuff.
