Finally, we reached june on the slopes ! yeah !

Ok... far to be 800 or 1000' high on Left Gully at Tucks, but still a 400' long halfpipe ramp of 15' wide and 8' high :D lol

Here is a few pics, although they may not be as representative of the length of the snowpatch :(

There is a video on Zoneski on the following address (scroll down after the pics and a few answers)

A funny thing is that Christophe had both his snow skis and grass-skis, so there is a few mix, including one run with Chris on grass-skis and me on snow-skis riding side by side ;)

It was a cool way to end a season... cause yeah, now it's over for me too... :(

Nice man ! Hopefully stratton will still have good snow cover as i doubt this warm weather eat would eat away a 10ft base :D . Looks good though, glad others are still out riding patchs.

Thanks EastcoasterDLM !

Mt Avila's snowpark was super big, last winter... but I'm sure it was less than the Stratton's one, according to the pics you posted a few weeks ago.

In the other Intrawest's resorts (like Stratton), Tremblant have kept a lot of snow on the top of the mountain and they have put some hay to ensure it doesn't melt too fast. According to sources here, there will be a competition of rails in the early july (possibly july 10). Amazing enough !

You can see some pics of that on the report of june 4 of 2 guys from Zoneski.

(just look 2nd, 3rd and 4th pics)

For Stratton, I guess the high temperatures we have here are even warmer in southern VT, so I hope the snow holds a few more weeks :)

At Avila, I think it would be about the same thing next weekend, but after there will probably be a break, cause there is a little "snow arch" at mid-point in the pipe ramp.

I should of came with you guys but I tought there were's gonna be more snow at Tremblant on the North Side. There were more but it was protected with hay . There's gonna be an event on July 10th :)

Anyways, it was cool to hike a much higher mountain but not to much with all the flies
