I'm planning a 5 day midweek ski trip for next week and really enjoy groomed fall line crusing runs. Can anyone suggest the best resorts based on consistent fall lines + pitch + grooming of these?:
Loon, Waterville, Bretton, Attitash, Sunapee
Thanks.

care to broden your resorts to include cannon, wildcat, and burke (technically VT but only 30 minutes over the boarder and has some of the best groomed cruisers in new england, highly recommended).

out of the areas you listed, since you are going mid-week i would recommend loon. but i think there are better areas than the one's you are considering for your needs.

Wildcat, Cannon and Burke. No Question. I personally think Wildcat in the spring cant be beat but the other two are also excellent.

Another vote for Cannon, Wildcat and Burke for fall line cruising. As was said above Wildcat is awesome in the Spring and with a HSQ with 2100 feet of verts you can get a days skiing in 3 hours.

IMHO, Bretton Woods has cruising but not much fall line. Waterville has the fall line but skis like a very small area to me because of the 'flat spot', but many laps of the quad are doable.

Of your list I would pick Attitash and Loon as tops for fall line skiing & grooming, and have some interesting terrain. I wouldn't go out of my way to ski Sunapee, Waterville or Bretton Woods but all three do good a good job with grooming. A caveat though, in the Spring it isn't always possible to groom slopes no matter what the mountain.
