Thanks for sharing Jason.

When we you there? We went through the Cape Cod on our vacation. Aug 8-16 with days on the Cape on 13-15 and left the coast at Newport.

I guess you like Cape Cod, if not, it's wouldn't be in username.

Coool stuff!

We went there trough our road trip in the Northeast... We visited Western Mass, then CT, then NY City... then headed out towards RI... and then stayed on the cape for 5 days... Then Boston and finished off with 2 days in Southern NH before returning towards home at Jay for the last day

Cape Cod has incredible mountain bike trails and the beach is pretty cool too... water is a tad cold compare to the beaches in NJ... but then again, much warmer then the brooks and streams we swim into up here! Bad traffic tough... kind of ruins it a bit... Campgrounds are top notch! Super quiet and extra clean!

Good times!

ya, the cape was a pretty neat place to grow up. i went the barnstable high, my mom went there, my grandpa went there too. and yes the mtb trails are deluxe and glad you liked trail o tears. myself, along with a few others cut most of those trails over the years to form a 22mile singletrack network there with another 15 or so miles you can connect to in sandwich although those trails are alot more strenuous than tot. i'm on the cape now and rode there yesterday and surfed perfect waves in welfleet today. two more days of bliss here with sunny and a high of 70 tomorrow. 50 mile mtb ride tomorrow. hundreds of miles of killer singletrack here. if we had a mountain range with a 6 month ski season within an hour of here ida never left. the real estate market is making me weak at the knees now as well. well, time for more beers, steak and lobster. supposed to be cold here this winter, i ain't buyin it. we just had two epic winters in a row.
ah. the cape!

Nice pics ,like those beach houses !
Good mountain bike shots , as a road biker can't imagine going down some of the steeps. Just finished the rail bed trail from Mt. Laurier to St. Jerome qc ( 200 km) . Used the hybrid bike , guess it would be kind of boring for the mountain bike crowd but you can really fly on some of the remote sections which is a requirement just to stay ahead of the bears :) !

Nahhh.... My girlfriend started mountain biking just last year... it's not that hard... She's always been a strong skier... so mountain biking came naturally... Now she loves it and we go out every weekend just like in winter... total bliss!

Mountain biking is a lot more like skiing/riding... You're in the woods following a narrow and winding path. It's sort of like hiking... without the boring part! Don't get me wrong, i love hiking... it's just a little slow on the way down... and hiking is to hard on your body compare to cycling which is really a low impact sport (unless you run into a tree!)

Most great tree skiers and riders i know mountain bike too... it's just one more nice way to enjoy nature and the mountains!
