the little man wanted to ski for his 5th birthday before going to daycare so skiing he did. read the tram was toast for the weekend, but knew he'd be stoked about the tunnel. it was a little firm in spots right after opening but other places in mineral rode well and within the hour, mark malu was good as well as most other places. not many people skiing.

toured alta this morning. rained until around 6:20, after which, headed up greeley to ski gunsight. 45 degrees this am so snow soft early. easy skinning and travel in general. some cool views with clouds rolling in. did see recent activity in gunsight so rode the skiers left coming down. rode decent and always fun. heading out, called a friend who needed to get a bird pass back to said he was sleeping in so decided to take lap off peruvian. rained a majority of the way up and snowing at the top. rain softened the snow and ripped all the way back down to the lot. that was really fun. be back on monday morning for the finale. enjoy the weekend.
