A couple weeks ago, I reread my interview from 2012 with FTO's founder and former admin. The second half is an interesting snapshot of how he ended up moving to SLC in the mid-00s and the ski scene there before the major changes that started occurring a few years later. Skinned up to Catherine's pass and Rocky point. Timing was perfect for good corn down east side to lake catherine. Then back up and over to Point Supreme and down through the ski area. Great day out. Still plenty of snow for spring touring.
