Back to MSS today !

The conditions were quite different than last week, but little problem, there was 2-3x more skiers. I arrived at the chairlift around 9h45 and I waited 15-20 minutes for my first ride up the Nordic Triple chair. At least, in my second wait, they started to run (testing) the Central HSQ. So they opened the HSQ at 11h with the Red Bird, one long beginner trail, probably close to twice the length of the other trails open.

Red Bird :

So the crowd was definitively spread into the 2 lifts and I never waited more than 5 minutes after. So it was really badly started, but it finished in a nice day !

Near the top, it was fun, there was a little wooden line accessible, so I took it a lot of times in the day !

The West 70 wasn't really interesting today. It was crowded with a snowpark in the middle part and there was a lot of ice or thin coverage, so I didn't spent a lot of time in it.

But the Nordique ... wow... really excellent today !! It was 2-3x wider than last week and there was some great bumped lines on the (skiers) right side of the trail.

Upper part of Nordique

Lower part of Nordique

Really super nice sky... super to take a couple of beauty shots, like this one (too bad I lose so much quality, reducing the pics under 40kb)

So that's it... really nice day, it was tough to believe that we were in mid-november, with a ski day like that. I hope to be back soon on the slopes and I pray for big snowfalls !!

PS ... if someone wonder it... yeah, I took it again... the little off-piste spot under the triple Chairlift ;) (see the video) It was a tiny bit less worst than last week, but there is a big tree that have fallen down on it, during the week... I guess after the big winds of thursday.

F, THEY LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE A LOT MORE SNOW THAN K DOES.. SPECIALLY THAT WOOD LINE SHOT.. NICE JOB

I don't know for the snow... honestly, there wasn't so much snow, but way enough to have some fun !

For the wood line, it was 100% snowmaking ! I guess the strong winds of thursday night finally brought the snow in the woods... so Patrick was almost right saying it would go up to Avila ! lol
