Can anyone else view my other post? I can't view it so I'll try again.

Snowed 4-5" yesterday, 5-7" last night, and 3-4" today. Stake has had 17.5" in the last 48hrs and the depth at 3,800ft is 74". For some mountains this might have been the worst winter ever but I've recieved more face shots this season than in any other season I can remember. It all started with the October 2-3 footer, Dec 2nd 20-incher, a lot of sweet days into early January...late January saw a 14-18" upslope snowfall, February featured occasional upslope storms of 6-12", March 4th saw 20-30", and now we've got 14-18" new. Tons of storms, lots of deep powder.

Video Clip of yours truely going for a snorkel.

That happens if you link to too many large images in one topic. The board software automatically resizes large images from external sources. This uses a lot of processing power, and the board software may timeout if it doesn't have sufficient time to do so.

Ahh, Thanks Marc. I couldn't figure out what was going on for the life of me. I'll leave it with those pictures for now and just say it was friggin sweet. Now gotta do a lot of work.

Of course I'm green with envy. CB and I chose a place farther south (Gore) so we could get there for weekends and a variety of other reasons. (There are other seasons than winter, I'm told). When we retire North River will be our SOUTHERN home, and we'll make Stowe and Jay prime destinations.

Scott - You mention "so many face shots...." - here's a request....I've never actual seen your face in all the photos you've posted. I'd like to actually SEE the weatherman in case I ever run into him on the hill.

Mark

Yeah, yeah rub it in! ULLR has not been kind to me this season.

I'll take some credit for your good powder fortune since I bagged our trip up there when the big warmup came last weekend. That's been the way it was for me all season...always just too far away to make getting there feasible.

Excuse me while I go kick myself in the butt.
