Went to stratton today and found a little bit of snow. First we saw that the park had 3 little patchs left but weren't really worth riding. We then checked out the pipe over in the sun bowl where the US open was held and found the two walls of the pipe about 400-500 feet long and one side 10-15ft wide. Took about ten min to hike up. The snow got better and better each run. I think it should hold up at least another week maybe even two depending on the weather.It was a good 6ft deep or deeper in places.Had some folks from sweden confussed on why there was snow and why we where sking it. Wow, you're lucky, Luke, to have found it finally <BR> <BR>On my side, I looked to Mt Grand-Fonds in Charlevoix this afternoon and all what remains is the big airs of the snowpark. It's sad as it was still skiable top to bottom 3 weeks ago... <BR> <BR>There is still some natural snow on the summits of the high mountains of the region...
