Hello all. I'm wondering if anyone wants to meet at the Cannon tram lot for the 2fer special they just put up on their site? Call 5087473211 or just submit a reply. Thanks, John. BTW, I'll be leaving from Plymouth, MA.

In my experience on twofer days, they're pretty cool about you hookin' up with someone at the window.

i was just up on thursday and just asked someone if they wanted to save $7 on thier ticket since a single was 39 and the two-for 64. usually not a problem. just show up and look for someone.

Thursday was pretty good btw. got on the lifts at 9:30. mostly everything was tracked already. still soft in most areas and got some good turns in though. mitersill was beat up pretty good when i ventured over their about 11am. be up their on Sunday.

was up there wed and thurs. wed offered untracked refills all day with about 1/10th the crowds of thurs. thursday i got on 2nd chair at peabody at 8:30 as they opened early. good to be ready and early on a powday when no new is falling. had 10 untracked runs off of zoomer by 10 and i'm sure mittersill was tracked out by 9. cannon skis so well.
enjoy sunday.

I've been many years in a row for SuperBowl at Cannon, always enjoyed it. Busy in the am, but I found that people leave fairly early on those days, regardless of the conditions.

Hamdog, how have you been? It's good to hear from you and see you getting some turns. Hoping you're having a good season.

My wife & I were waiting in line at 8:30 Thursday - we were probably on the 10th chair or so... Here's a shot of of the line -

There was a wind-blown crust of about 2" on the snow near the top of the mountain with the light fluffy stuff underneath. I spent most of the morning experiencing wide/fat ski envy as I watched people float over the crust (and later crud) while my old Rossi 9x's did the best they could. The zoomer runs were great, with no crust. Looked like lots of people had a snow day as the place got crowded by mid-morning.

Hamdog is right, on both last Tuesday and Thursday people were just hanging around at the ticket counter asking for a singles.

ya, i'd skinned to the summit at 6 am to see what effect the had happened up there. my run down vista to paulies ext to avalanche was super protected with no wind effect which is why i went right to zoomer 1st thing when the lift opened. great day, almost as good as the day before.
