A much different day than Veteran's Day.

Cool, windy and clear, with a brilliant blue sky.
Trails were very firm with some icy patches, especially on steeper pitches.
There were now two ways down: Risky Business to Lazy River leading to the South Ridge base, and Ecstasy to Cascades leading to the Barker base. The Barker building is not open yet due to continuing construction. The two base areas were linked by connnector trails with some poling and skating required, but no walking.

Ecstasy/Cascades was just opened Saturday and had not been groomed yet. It was very firm, very bumpy and had huge whales. Risky had been groomed Saturday morning, but was quite mogulled by Sunday morning. Unfortunately these were largely of the "skid, slam and jam" intermediate skier created variety rather than rhythmic "mogul skier" created bump lines.

Traffic on Risky/Lazy was intense. Bodies everywhere. I saw a couple collisions, including one that probably resulted in a broken leg in a "slow" skiing zone.

Ecstacy/Cascades was much quieter, though the snow was more challenging.

Snowmaking was active on Jungle Road/Sunday Punch, the halfpipe, and American Express, which should greatly help in spreading out the traffic next weekend.
