I'll post the photos later on, its a whole lot of stuff to sort through....

Thursday was a picture perfect day for Tucks, no icefall despite the high temps, maybe a good 40-50 people up there. Someone set off some major amount of sluff over to the right of the lip and it nearly buried my skis which were a bit off from lunch rocks! The boot ladder by the lip looked like total crap, but a real nice one got going over to the climbers right of the chute. The highlight of the day though would have to be the crazy sledding guys on various inflated inner tubes... their runs down the bottom of the bowl looked a hell of a lot more frightening than most of the people actually skiing/boarding the headwall.

Stowe was pretty nice today, but you really had to pick your trails & lines very carefully. I took my first run over on Bypass and there were parts of it that I would call very "technical" (when rocks and vegetation are more of the trail that youre on than the thin little ribbon of slush/ice/snow). The run out of Bypass was pretty nice, some wide open areas to get some corn turns on. But as you got to the very bottom, anything that spills out to the skiers left of the quad running from the base required walking to get back to the lift, and the trails over there were in very poor shape toward the bottom (I kept my skis on but I had to either waddle over large patches of relatively dry grass or take it pretty slow on the really long patches of wet grass). Liftline looked like it had some nice bumps, but I avoided it because at the bottom it looked like a pretty long walk. The run of the day for me was Lord -> Centerline -> Gulch, on which I dont think I had to ski on any surface other than snow, the bumps weren't really all that big but more interesting than no bumps at all. I should have gone and checked out Hayride as well but I was pretty exhausted.

I briefly stopped through Killington (decided to take a joyride down rt. 100) for some food, and talked to some people who had skied there today. They said coverage was excellent and they didnt have to ski a single bare patch - no idea what they were skiing really but take that for what its worth.
