Wow !!
This was an awesome weekend in Saguenay
. I really enjoyed the weekend from the beginning 'till the end. This is now my favorite ski area in Quebec.
We had nice weather. 2 days of sunshine with temps in the upper 40's and with lights winds too. Why ask better ?
First of all, the Valinouet has no snowmaking 8) so there are no ice. The glades are some of the best in the east such as the Gauthier and the Fontaine. Also, I think they have the best moguls trails in the Province
We stayed for 2 nights in the alpine village. Sort of a Ski-In, Ski-out lodge 8) . A really nice place but most of us didn't like the owner...
I hope Frankontour will had some comments of his weekend
Awesome views !!
Nice long glades. This is the middle Fontaine
Nice moguls trails
My favorite moguls trail
The Gauthier, Very nice glade compare to what I'm use to ski
Somewhere else in the Gauthier
Nice Sunset
Saturday night, we hiked the mountain to go do a run before dinner. It took us about 45 minutes to hike the mountain from a blue run, The Dufresne. We went down by the Ruisseau but the snow was frozen. It's still pretty cold at night overthere
Here his some nice pics of sunset
Frank during our hicking
Almost at the summit
The gang !!
